Reporting Process

Medical Practitioners will receive an Audiology report for every patient they refer to ONDC for diagnostic or hearing services with the exception of fitting of custom earplugs.

Diagnostic Audiology reports will be available within a week of the patient’s appointment at ONDC.

Urgent referrals and reports may be available on request.

Patients referred for hearing rehabilitative services that progress to the fitting of a hearing aid will have a trial with the exception of those precluded by OHS regulations. Reports will be issued upon completion of the rehabilitative process which may take at least 6 weeks.

Patients referred to ONDC will have their diagnostic results reviewed by an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist.
